Hello! My name is Dr. Kathryn M. Flaherty. I have been a Doctor of Chiropractic for 18 years. I am a 1995 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic, in Davenport Iowa. I have additional 3 year degree in the fields of Pediatrics and Pregnancy; I hold a certificate in the field of Spinal Trauma. I am a native to the Illinois Valley, born in Ladd, Il, graduated High school from Princeton, Il. I currently live in LaSalle, with my 3 German Shepherds and one crazy cat.

I was born and raised in Mendota, Illinois, where I graduated from Mendota High School. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Illinois State University before pursuing my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Although I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare, I didn’t discover my true calling until I was 19 years old. As a teenager, I suffered from chronic headaches three to five times per week and assumed it was just a normal part of adolescence. During a college spring break, I began working as a temporary receptionist for my mother’s chiropractor and longtime family friend. It was there that I was first introduced to chiropractic care as a patient. After beginning care, my headaches decreased dramatically, from multiple times per week to only a few per month.
