Meet Dr. Gabrielle Peasley
I was born and raised in Mendota, Illinois, where I graduated from Mendota High School. I went on to earn my Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Illinois State University before pursuing my Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa.
Although I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare, I didn’t discover my true calling until I was 19 years old. As a teenager, I suffered from chronic headaches three to five times per week and assumed it was just a normal part of adolescence. During a college spring break, I began working as a temporary receptionist for my mother’s chiropractor and longtime family friend. It was there that I was first introduced to chiropractic care as a patient. After beginning care, my headaches decreased dramatically, from multiple times per week to only a few per month. That experience solidified my decision to become a chiropractor and dedicate my career to helping others who are living with pain.
My chiropractic philosophy centers on patience and addressing the root cause of dysfunction. I believe healing takes time and that there is no “magic cure-all” solution. In a fast-paced world where many people seek quick fixes, I am committed to providing thoughtful, individualized evidence-based care that supports long-term health and function.
